I can't find the chain wear blocks for my "A" combine, I don't seam to look in the right places.

I made some for our massy baler out of hard wood and used band saw.

Maple or white oak work quite well.

Replace them with the sprocket idlers that have a bearing in the center. Runs much quieter and last longer, also. Available at TSC .

I found the blocks on a old two row corn head off a "E" that is sitting here. LOL
I did think about just changing them to a sprocket type idler, I was just wanting to keep it like it came out from the factory, I'll just get the sprocket idlers from Shoup's if they are not still being made.

Are they still available through AGCO? The common small one is 71100271 and the common larger one is 71116256. I think MayWes or somebody had wear blocks available that were made of some kind of High density poly something or another.
