I drove 750 miles Monday to rescue this WD45 Diesel.....it had been under cover until the snow collapsed the roof of the barn. Been sitting for who knows how long. Shifter cover was off, tranny full of water....engine appears to be stuck. Good news is the radiator is full of green stuff and the oil is black and at the right level. Also came with Oxnard 3pt, one new (unused) rear tire  and nice wide front....

And this funky extension for the hand clutch....whoever did it did a great job as it looks factory

Nice find! It doesn't look half bad. I hope the engine isn't too much of a mess.

Eldon,
I'd like to know more about the "Oxnard" 3PH; like how it fastens to the tractor.
That top link bracket looks the same as the one used with the A-C  snap-coupler to 3PH attachment.  If so, just that piece is worth quite a bit!

Wow! Nice find! Nice save!!!

We've got to hear more of the story Eldon.

BTW, that is a LONG way to drive. Was it 750 miles one way, or round trip?

Brian the 3pt is mounted to the sc bell  and the frame rails...I bought a WD single front a couple of years ago with the veggie cultivators and it has the same setup only for the pin hitch and doesn't have swivel ball ends on the lower arms. It looks like it was designed to use the traction booster as the arms pull against the sc bell. The top link bracket is AC as well, (but I don't think from Oxnard) - they were going for $120 on ebay a couple of years ago. The seller's father was the owner of this tractor for years (may have bought it new) and used it untill his health failed 4?? years ago...daughter was selling to settle the estate....I should have looked around more since I didn't get the side cover for the battery box and the pto shaft is MIA...but it was getting late and starting to rain.  The original owner may have modified the hand clutch and added the step on the LH side w/grab handle on fender due to health reasons....

If you still need it later this fall, I've got a diesel pto shaft.  I can't say for sure that it's not bent, but if's the correct cast bearing hanger.
