For sale is my first tractor. I'm a small farmer of 400-500 acres and I have been transitioning to minimal/no till, so I no longer need. After seeing a 1983 Allis Chalmers 8050 on big iron sell for $46,500 decide today was the day to list. Around 9000 hours, Power Shift, Rebuilt Allis 6 cylinder Diesel Engine that has been dynod around 190HP, THREE aux Hydraulics, 3 point with draft controls, Updated Seat, NEW Headliner, Extra Set of New Side decals. Prior owners receipts of significant work are pictured, I have put a new set of 20.8-38's on Back (including duals) The front also has new tires. The only "significant" work i have done to it since I bought it is a Hydraulic line along with replacing the AC receiver drier along with several AC line/hoses after a hose ruptured. Have had no issues since and it blows COLD! Make me an offer if intersted uploads/22761/1984allischalmers8070tractor-13.jpg" rel="nofollow - uploads/22761/1984allischalmers8070tractor-13.jpg

The powershifts are a problem in these?  Before I bought it I visited with probably the best known  Allis mechanic in the area, and he stated to me the 8050/70 powershift set up is one of the most reliable set ups you can ask for.  So with that to my knowledge its never been rebuilt.  I never have had any concerns with the performance of it either, worked perfect.  Runs right down the road and pulls like a mule...

If the nut hasn't come loose in 9000 hours, it probably got staked pretty good.
