If you have done a computer update recently, you may have inadvertently changed something in your settings.

You (or your puter) may have set the 'clear logins' option in the 'clear history' options of your internet browser.BTDT, PITA when accessing banks and other sites....

I use Mozilla Firefox ( for years now) , Zero problems like that.

I haven’t ‘logged out’ in what seems forever. Granted there are some on this forum that think I have ‘checked out’ a long time ago! LOL

I only have to log in when i CLEAN the hard drive and WIPE all Cookies and Pass Words.... Your computer might be setup to CLEAN every day, or WIPE data every time you Log off the computer ??

I have the 'update" warning in the corner. It was green then yellow now red. One of these nights it will update auto and clear a bunch of stuff I have minimized.     Chrome

You can white list cookies and web sites you use often - that way the login stays active when cleaning .
I use the free CC Cleaner about every other day to clear junk , also Free Ad-Aware program to stop popups - sometimes these uses does remove sign-in info but easy to log back in as also use  Free Last Pass log in program to remember passwords and to generate new ones .

I use Firefox.  The thing is this didn't use to happen until the last 6 or 8 months.  Haven't changed anything to the best of my knowledge .

With the  browser open,
click on 'History' waay at the top...
click on 'clear history'...
LOOK at what options are checked(they'll be in blue)...

UNcheck 'active logins' and 'cookies'...
That's how I'm setup on this machine, so I know it works.

I also spent the time to  create a list of 'must have' cookies, within Firefox.  This allows me to 'clear cookies' but NOT the important ones, like banking , where you NEED to have silly things like passwords and answers to Q&As, to get you INTO their websites.

If you want to be disgusted, goto the 'manage cookies' section and see how many 100s or 1000s of servers have YOUR info. I go there, arrange by date(now to..beginning) and delete everything before ,say 3-4 months. Doing this speedsup the  'online experience'.
