I'm working on the restoration of a new to me 190 XT , 1972 ,and need the friction discs to repair the tilt steering. Does anybody have these already made or is this something I need to make . We have a company here in Mars Pa. Industrial Brake Co. I may be able to get some brake lining from them. 3/8 thick 1 1/8 diameter is the size of the frictions . Sandy Lake does not have the frictions . I only need the active disc as it is split like a pie is sliced the stationary one is still like new. The 200 I'm doing has the same problem. Thank You .

Thanks for your reply Alvin. I was thinking someone still knew if they were available anywhere, I will take a trip to the brake shop tomorrow. Hopefully they have some cutoffs of organic or softer lining . I believe lining too hard will slip easy and steering column will not stay put. I have some truck disk pads I was going to cut some out but the friction material is metallic and hard .

I have the same problem with my 190xt. I would appreciate it if you could report back on what you actually end up getting and anything that I can specify to a potential source around me. A picture would be great. Thanks.
