Here is a picture of my 172 A-C mower, its not a real good picture but I got one the other day when it was behind my 19. Just wonderd how  hard it is to get blades  for. Mower  does a great job it mowes like a finish mower.

I have one in southern Illinois. I have the laminated tires and it was originally a hand crank for the height. We did away with that and put a cylinder on it. Always shedded and mows great!! Ryan

I have a 160 snap coupler mower, very similar to that one.

I bought a 172 earlier this year from Michael Crowe - has the original hand ratchet adjuster on one side I use to set minimum height then I put an Allis one-way cylinder on the other side to raise it.  Run it behind my Series III D17.  Works great and as said it leaves a much nicer cut than a brush hog.  Blades are still available thru AGCO I understand...I hear they are higher priced but much better blades.  Mike
