I have a hay wagon not sure who the manufacturer was but it’s only 12’ long. I have had some white oak logs cut to redo the wagon and stretch it out. Right now the main beams are 4x6x12 rough cut. My question is if I lengthen the wagon to 18’ should I stay with 4x6 or should I go larger like 6x6? I have the lumber for the floor and the cross beams but I have another log to cut the main beams out of and wanted to see what the forum thought about the size of the beams

If you are using it for hay, 4X6 is plenty stout enough...Wink
