The other day I decided to tear down this old Flare Wagon I had for over 20 years that was rotting away and I’m planning on re-storing it to a Allis Chalmers Wagon to match my Tractor. This is what I’ve done this week.

looks like you're off to a good start. Are you using the "irons" from the old wood part of the wagon? Good idea to have that chair close by so you can inspect your work from time to time. Keep us informed of your progress.

Thanks for the complement. I plan on keeping the Hardware from the old Wagon I might build another Flare Wagon. Yes I keep that chair close I have severe Arthritis in my Knees and a Spondylosis thoracic spine. I try to stay active on the weekends after working all week driving so I won’t hurt as bad. I hope to get some of these Implements done by Spring. TSC was out of Paint yesterday said they should have some by Thursday. I’ll keep you Guys posted on updates.

Now with the old wooden box removed that running gear looks kinda like the old New Idea running gears I have, but not exactly like them. Have you look around the bearing housings on the wheels to see any casting numbers?

-------------
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I’ve look everywhere but I will double check that. I don’t think it’s a David Bradley unless some changed the wheels out one time. I’m wondering if it was home made?

looks like parts from several older wagon gears. and check it as some just had bushings instead of bearings in the wheels

I’ll take some pic when I pull the wheels off.
