It looks like 11 year old Xavier Harrelson who has been missing for several months from Montezuma IA has been found just north of Montezuma.
They haven’t positively identified the remains, only to say that the remains of an adolescent have been found and it appears that the clothing is consistent with what Xavier was last known to be wearing.
I can only guess how devastated I’d be if my little boy went missing.

Very Sad..........

The body of an adolescent has been found near the hometown of a missing 11-year-old Montezuma boy, an Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation official confirmed Thursday evening.

The clothing on the body matches what  https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2021/06/01/xavior-harrelson-missing-montezuma-iowa-child-what-we-know/5290788001/" rel="nofollow - Xavior Harrelson was wearing when he was last seen on May 27 , Mitch Mortvedt, assistant director of the DCI, said at a news conference shortly after discovery of the remains.

The discovery prompted a heavy police presence in the town of about 1,500 people in Poweshiek County. A farmer mowing fields near 110th Street and Ewart Road, about 4.5 miles outside of Montezuma, found the body, authorities said.

Harrelson was reported missing just days from his 11th birthday. The boy was last seen near his home in the northwest part of the town, wearing a T-shirt, pajama pants and black high-top shoes.

I hope justice is swift and harsh. But in Iowa the best they can do is life. If they even find who is responsible

Praying for the boys family. But also that police do not bungle the investigation and all dirt bags get justice.

Have a 20 year old case here, still no body of the 19 year old girl at the time of her disappeared from a college party. Last seen being walked home by a known male. Very sketchy evidence but going to try the now 40 year old for murder and his 80 year old father for adding with hiding the body. College campus police not taking it seriously at first and bring in help. So always a step behind.

I agree. There’s too much hand slapping going on in the legal system

Prayers for the family and the farmer.  Come to Illinois our fatazz governor has made law enforcement a joke.  In Chitcago the prosecutor doesn't even file murder charges on some when they murder another
