And will be home bound, been building a Apartment inside a Truck Shop building in OK for the guy I traded of the KW with. He is divorced twice, had a live in gal for a while, got tired of footing all the bills and getting not much back so is establishing this apartment for living until finds appropriate acreage AS THE MARKET FLOPS to build on. Simple single room apartment 24x32, has a curtain for sleeping area separated from kitchenette and a small lavatory area in a closet with stool and small shower. His belongings will all fit well and he should have no issues with much as on City Water/Sewer, full electric with Wood Heat backup.

We have the floors all fitted out, have to set ceiling joists and rock in the room but all the wall studs are up and square. Has donated sheet rock from a contractor buddy and most of his lumber was culls or leftovers. Walls already insulated and wired, just have to set overhead lamp boxes(Recessed) for the essentially two rooms and one for the bathroom then set sheetrock, has another buddy gonna tape it. Should finish up tomorrow where thoughts were would be a week, so far just three going on four days.

Tired.

Work goes fast if can anticipate next need. Known these two long enough we all think alike.

Back last night. Worn slick as sheet rock was a PITA!! Room was not quite as square as we thought but will have to do.

He is satisfied, will have taper in this week and livable by weekend, bath is fully functional and was prior to completion of apartment room. I am kind of jealous as he has gone minimalistic approach and seems to be ahead of the curve.

No pics, he does not want to be identifiable as living there as local Building Code inspector has been riding him as to Living Spaces and tax rate jump for years since he had a Camper sitting there, it has been gone awhile. Apartment is pretty well hidden as to a parts/tools storage area.

Kitchenette!! Sink but no fixed stove, Microwave and a Closet that has a portable LP cooktop. Fridge is in his shop and with NO Window cannot be called a Bedroom even in OK, so long as inspector doesn't get too close as the wall opens up!! Can raise a old roll up door and a spot in that adjoining wall to get outside air in!. We really crammed a lot in a small space as to make livable. No independent heat or AC for the space, all comes from temporary units, so also essentially incomplete.

He called today, taping DONE, paint to go on in less than a week then moves in!! One HAPPY Boy!

Received a email from the happy Camper, he has added some rugs so can go bare to sock foot and not get filthy, got his furnishings in and set, table and chairs(3), small desk for his laptop and phone charger, we set two full four plug outlet boxes near there on two separate breakers, bed and a small table for night stand and a couple old dressers. All the lights work but the easy open wall sticks OFTEN, humidity makes it swell. The AC was not very good so received and is gonna cut in a PTAC unit he got from a buddy at a hotel renovation, almost new but the chain wanted ALL new, got it free!! is going into a inner shop wall where can manage it better. Maybe have that done in a week or two.

He is on the road hauling and maintaining HE so will only be in it three or four days/nights a week, a real apartment was too costly for what get.

He is HOG Happy, has a TV and Radio but has yet to turn either on, gets good reception from Tulsa. It is what it is and works is the only real response he has had from others and his GF, his boys love it so far, has foldaway bed for when they stay with him, daughter is in College and may stay at her Mom's when back in town but agreed is a good deal for him.
