WD is a 52, conditioner I have no idea but most likely early 60’s. Normally I run it at the same time with my 82S mower but I just replaced the left side roll bearing and wanted to hear it run by itself. Nice and quiet now. The area Charlie filmed wasn’t very thick as was the rest of the field. Did a good job and the ole WD grunted a few times when it was really heavy but powered right through it. Was running in 2 gear. It’s been a great $300 tractor. The conditioner does a really good job and I have yet to have it wrap at the end of the rolls as many have commented it would. It’s done what I hoped it would in 1st cutting tall orchard grass.

Growing up dad grew 30-40 acres of burley tobacco every year and had lots of "seasonal" help which were mostly drunks and wino's. So from an early age I was exposed to every cuss word of that time(there's a lot more now). But I never used any of them(at least around anybody) until at about age 15 when I got stuck running the "H" Farmall pulling a conditioner identical to yours. In tall,thick fescue orchard grass it would constantly wrap all the way across the steel roller and it would happen instantly and start slipping the ratchet style clutches. But then one day dad ran it instead of me and that night he said "that thing would make the POPE cuss". It left the farm after that year and replaced with new NH haybine. That restored my faith in heaven.

Good luck with yours and yes they do a good job of conditioning hay.

Have you got any rain yet or still dry?
