Saw a HD6g loader for sale I’m interested in going to look at. Was looking up info on it . Everything shows a regular hd6 weighing around 14k. But then I see forum threads saying the G weighs around 21k. Is the G that much heavier? And he says it’s a 1980 model. That doesn’t seem right from what I find.

Hd6g does weigh 19-21k depending on year and whats on the back. Its heavier than dozer version because of the loader assembly.  6g started in production in 55' and ended in the 60's so its not a 1980 lol

Last 6G was made in 74
Will have a number stamped on a tag on it; can tell the year of manufacture from that

Thanks guys. That’s heavier than I want. His price is right but looking at the pics I think the undercarriage is shot.
