Well the fiance and I went down yesterday early....watched as 2 men, one that owned the JD dealer locally, and the man that owned the AC dealer locally run a shingle mill and cut cedar shakes....powered by AC. Had a very nice Allis A running the mill by belt(pics to  come). I got to meet a forum member, Andy in PA....it was very nice meeting you. There was a decent AC showing for it being a Ford, Fordson and Ferguson as the feature tractor. Made some definite improvements to the WC as I got a full pull at the pulls.....I saw 3 other WC's than mine with footbrakes, one of them a styled WC with what I guess is a steel rear....guy came up to me and says I just bought this tractor(very nicely restored though the hand brakes and fenders were missing) and he said your rear end is different than mine and so are these other tractors....he said mine is square....well I guessed it to be a steel rear but I gave him the link to this forum as you guys Im sure will lead him in the right direction. I wanted to get some pics of the mill running today but its now raining so I doubt Im going down again.....all AC run sawmill. here is a WC running the planer,  I think it was a WF running the mill itself....They had steamers running the apple butter press, I got pics of steamers on the Prony Wheel....I'll have to get them loaded up but we definetly had fun. We also walked the whole flea market....my phone has a walking counter, and according to it we walked almost 15000 steps which it translates to 6.7 miles....no wonder I slept so well

It was nice to meet you and the little woman too, Benny. That is my uncles' A and UC. Would have liked to come over to the pull after we ate to watch you but my pop was all played out for the day. He seemed to enjoy his birthday (93) and I am lucky to have him. He was going to drive in the parade but we arrived a little late to get in the lineup. Hope to see you folks again sometime.

In my opinion, this one of the best shows in the country.  I took 3 tractors to the show for over 10 years.  My health prevents me from attending now.  This show is great no matter which brand of tractor is being featurted.  If you have never attended,  I strongly reccoment that you do in the future.  The gentlement that was mentioned on the sawmill was Paul Dotterer.  The AC tractors pictured are his.  Steve Greob. a former JD Dealer and a fine person owns the John Deere.

You probably wouldnt have waited that long Andy...I didnt pull until almost 9:30....Im glad to see your dad getting around so well at his age. I was kinda curious if you were related to Paul....and yes TomDavison....that was Paul Dotterer and Steve Grieb....those guys are as serious about tractors as it gets.....kinda funny watch Mr.Allis, and Mr.JohnDeere always running the wood working equipment together there.
