Fired up the B for the first time this spring and the shift lever was wacked up. It would go in one gear and that was about it. The lever was all floppy. Pulled the lever out today and it's obvious the end ball that contacts the forks is worn pretty good. It no longer looks like a ball, lot of worn flats. What size diameter ball should it be...or should it be a true ball? If anyone has any specs on this shifter lever to get it refurbed please post them. I.e. lower ball diameter and distance from the center of the pivot ball to the center of the lower ball. Thanks. I can fix this, just need to know what I'm restoring it too.
