So I picked this up a couple weeks ago. Approximately 2700 hours on it. Everything works as it should. Went and looked at it a couple times before plunking down the cash. It started immediately every time I looked at it.  I know some people are not big fans of the 160. I thoroughly checked it out, including the hydraulics and they work as they should. it did have a bad fuel line from the tank to the filter so I already replaced that. Bought it to pull a 72” finish mower. This was a one owner tractor. Guy bought it around 1970 new the wife believes as he recently passed. Spent its whole life basically mowing. Steers so nice. Runs really good and I’m liking it so far. Gears are all nice and tight not a jumper. Paid 3000.00 for it which I thought was fair. No plans on painting it basically just keep it original and keep it mechanically sound. I bought a new 72” land pride finish mower and wanted something without ag tires to pull it. I’m addicted to the orange AC’s in a bad way. And my wife didn’t even say a word. Of course I didn’t tell her for a couple days later. I’m not that stupid. Pic is where I bought it from will post more pics in a couple of days. What’s your honest thoughts ? Thanks, Ray

There are 3 prices for that... what you paid, what you told her you paid, and the price you paid when she found out what you really paid!

Good little tractors, think you did fine. They fetch a good price. First one I’ve seen with turf tires.

if you are happy with it, that's all that matters.  Looks decent - not beaten up.

Nice looking tractor and I think you got a deal.  I'm not sure you will need all of that weight out front there and you'll probably want to change the front tires to a smoother tread.  I don't know what size they are but I put a couple of car spare tire, donut type, on the front of one tractor I used for mowing.  They were really great.

Neat little tractor Ray. One owner low hours and small for pulling a mower I think you did good. Mechanically sounds in original working clothes is a good way to run them. It still does the job. All the best with it. Cheers, Richard

I think you got a good buy.  If you're mowing steep hills be careful & watch for sliding due to the turf tires.  I have a 5050.  They were made in Romania so mine is also an "import".  It has done everything I've asked of it and I'm happy with it.  That's all that matters.  You're the guy who is going to drive it and work on it.  If you're happy I'm happy.  Smile
