A proposed 2022 ballot initiative in Colorado would revamp the state’s code on animal cruelty, defining many common farm practices for assisting reproduction or checking an animal’s reproductive organs as “sex acts.” Artificial insemination, pregnancy checking, and assisting in the birthing process would be considered criminal activities.

Similarly, a proposed 2022 ballot initiative in Oregon would effectively criminalize livestock production in the state by classifying their slaughter as aggravated abuse and redefining artificial insemination and castration as “sexual assault.”

Bunch of damn fools. They want to stop the livestock industry in the US so we have to get meat from countries where there are absolutely no regulations on how animals are raised or what they eat. As long as they "make a difference" I guess

Who, Me?
This Colorado bill has all the ag organizations and the Governor on the same page, something I don't think has ever happened before!  The writers of the bill are a couple weirdo's not far from me, don't know them though.

Where are the animals rights on this planet???
Specially when the government allows their animals to run wild....
and let them run across your property and eat your crops....
and allow them to play in the 'people's waters... and then refer the waters as STATE WATERS...Wacko
Guess everything belongs to the government... ?
 Don't think so.
Just a hundred days in... Gotta right this ship before some idiots sink it.
