I have a 62 D17 II the power steering is nearly toast especially when cold.I know rebuild parts like pumps are tough to find.Has anyone got an aftermarket fix or a homemade cobble up that works?
Thanks- I depend on this old girl for light loader work and it's getting to winter when I need it the most.

It all depends on what's wrong with it. Bill at Sandy Lake told me that a common problem is the nut on the steering shaft inside where the shaft goes in the valve can loosen and then the valve doesn't work right.
