Hey everyone. Still plugging away on this B. Bought a used rocker assembly for it and had a question. I noticed that the bushings in the rocker arms have holes that have been installed in any random place. My old rocker arms had the holes in the bushings installed toward the oil hole in the top of the arm. Any harm in those bushing holes installed opposite the oil hole in the arm? Thanks.

Bushing holes should be in line with arm holes, as oil comes out of center of rocker tube through the arm to oil valve stems and guides.  Tim

How about drilling a new hole through the rocker arm oil hole through the bushing?

Haven't tried boring a new hole, would probably be ok.

Drilling would be a better idea than trying to pound it out and reuse it. ... Hole on the bottom does nothing, and dont hurt nothing.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

So if I spray down through the rocker hole, it comes out the bushing hole no matter where that bushing hole is located. The way the rocker arms are formed allows for a void around the center of the bushing that oil could flow. Should work I guess. Still drill a hole?

I would prefer to have the oil DRIP thru the hole right onto the shaft... and not assume it will run under the shaft and wick back up.

Ok yea understood. I’ll drill some 1/8” holes down through the arm holes and figure a way to remove the burrs after drilling .
