I hosted our 2nd annual Old Tractor Fun Day on Sunday and there were 53 adults and kids showed up. It is a family event for friends and neighbors, a lot of them city folk, most who have never been on a tractor.  They burned up a lot of fuel, had a lot of fun and a few even turned some dirt with an old IH tandem disc.  My SIL drove the Allis 'B' pulling an old manure spreader converted for hay rides for the kids. Other tractors in use were a '48 'U', a '50 WF, and on steel wheels, two Allis 20-35s, a 1930 Wallis 12-20, a 1930 Case C, and a friend's '28 JD 'D'.  Unfortunately, all the pics that my daughter took are rejected by the forum as being too large.  I'll try to get some from others who attended.

Phil, that is cool!!!

Better be careful though, this event could easily turn into 5,300 and a four day event.

Picture reminds me of our dairy farm.We would have wore out New Idea manure spreaders that we would use as trailers.I can remember hauling a lot around in those,10 gallon milk cans, hay and straw bales, dirt, rock and gravel, yard waste, fire wood.My father would give grade schools "Field Trips" to the farm.He would haul them around in one.I don't think they even knew what they were riding in.Other than being front heavy, they made good utility trailers.Low to the ground, sides, open back end for easy loading unloading. Thanks for the pics.Brought back some good memories
