Anyone here from close to there? Was out fishing at Lake Poinsett some years ago and remember seeing what looked like a considerable Allis collection on the North side of highway 28? |

I live a couple hours south, seems to me there was a large collector up that way that passed away a few years ago and they auctioned it all off. I think someone even posted it on here.

Thanks Bill, could have been him. I seem to remember a large sale out that way some years back. Deemed it a bit far to drag a trailer. Funny what pops up in the old memory file sometimes!

Doug, I bet that is the guy. Seems like he had some sort of AC sign out front. My thought for this thread was maybe he was a member here. I should ask the former live-in if she remembers that. Thanks for the replies.
