I am to the point of putting the gear shift assembly back on. The one that came out is pretty worn. I am not really sure if it was jumping out of gear. I have a linkage from a series I, that looks in much better condition. I see the different part numbers for some of the parts, but at close inspection, I cannot see any difference. Does anyone know the difference, and will they interchange?

D10, D12, D14, D15 transmissions went through may changes, hard to say what is different. It may be just such a thing has hardness of the metal
