| I always had more fun when they used a short chain on the sled. Something for the new pullers to take note of. A short chain will throw off the ballance every one had figured out with a longer chain and make the front end come up quicker and higher. |

Looks like DeWayne has the CA hangin about right. His back tires look good too, pulling without digging.

Thanks guys for the comments! The WD took 1st place in the 4000,4500, and 5000 lb classes! I didn't do so well, but I'm learning and having fun! I like pulling with the short chain also to help lift the sled! The sled operator started with the long chain by the time it was for me to pull! I would like to have a little more of a lug to use on my tires!

Now that does look like fun! I've never hooked to a sled but was told if I do it once, that's all it takes. I would love to see what I could do??? Keep up the butt stompings! ------------- Just when I thought I was finishing my "honey-do-list", she turned the page!!! |

whenever they have a long chain, I move most all of my weight to the back end, and let her ride in the sky. Usually works well.
