Joe,
That chopper looks to be in great shape. I hope you can share some field shots. I noticed the ear corn in the back ground. What do you pick it with and where do you feed it? Way to go.

I picked two 782 at a sale. Here's the hay chopper the one I'm working on is in back.

I had to tear them a apart to get them across the boarder they were bought in Canada. So I had to put them back together when I got home.

I'd like to find one like that for my 190XT....my uncle used to chop for us with one on his XT....he could cover some ground compared to our pitiful WD45D and single row forage harvestor....

Howdy Joe,
I have a AC 782 also with two row corn head on. These machine have three foot wide knifes in them. They can eat corn fast. Fellow I brought mine from had one of those IH ant eaters on front. He said this AC 782 could sure handle more. Have fun.

Also,  If I remember correctly this has a blade sharpener built in.  Worked well in our area.  Yes, it could cut some corn or whatever too.
Good Luck!

Joe, how do you find all of this stuff in Canada?  I live here and can't find it!

Reminds me of a sale I was at about 12 years ago where I really screwed up. I watched a chopper just like that one with a picker head and corn head sell for 90 bucks! Why I didn't buy it is completely beyond me. The paint was not even wore off the picker teeth and bands on the picker head. Some one should have woke me up or something.  Darrel
