I need ALL the prayers I can get fellas and gals. My Mom, who will be 94 on the 15th, just suffered a stroke. She's not real bad, the worst is her speech and memory. She doesn't know what month it is or her last name. My Sisters call her speech 'salad', it's all mixed up. She's in the hospital right now undergoing testing and we'll see what is to come. Thanks for all the prayers. They have done their job again as usual. She is MUCH better today. Yesterday was a handful, what with the doctors and the nursing home. I don't ever want to go through that again. Got her into the nursing home and we can't see her until next Monday at the earliest. All cause of this covid crap. Even then, it'll be through a door. They have a glassed in vestibule where she can be inside and we'll be in the area in between her and outside. Better than nothing. Her speech on Wednesday was garbled. What my sisters called 'salad'. Now today we did a 'Zoom' with her just for her birthday. She is in great spirits and the 'salad' is pretty much gone. Her memory is still a little fuzzy, but then so is mine. Maybe more so..... She wants to get back to her assisted living place so bad that she is being a very good patient for them there. A good gal friend works there and is giving me the real skinny, so that is a help.
