Way back when, musta been at least 12 years I bought this D 15II at an Aumann auction in Taylorville, IL.  It seemed to be running OK at the time and got itself on the trailer.  So through a few years i went thru the motor, front end pivot, final drives and whatever else it needed.  Lastly a new single coat urethane paint job and decals.

As I am approaching 80, I feel it is time I let it go.  It really snorts with that 3" pipe  and is not a gear jumper.

Anyhow, when it thaws out later on, I am planing on getting it out and running.

So what are your recommendations on how to market this gem properly?

thanx, Dave

Craigslist or Facebook Market Place.  They have both worked fine for me.

If it was me, I'd advertise it first here on the classified section and on Craighslist. Both places have proven to work well for me.  Advertising in print media anywhere is a problem because of the necessary lead time, items generally are sold before the print version ever gets to the public. The exception here are daily or weekly papers. We have a farm-oriented  weekly paper "Lancaster Farming" that I've been able to sell many things on. It's circulation is Pa, Md, Va. WV, De, NY & Oh. Is there something like that in your area?

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Yep it sure does DJ.  Setting that thing up kinda kept me out of the watering hole for a while.

Oh and I really did not intend for you to go to the expense of air mailing, or maybe  it was the mail persons  that kinda made a flex joint of the weld on it.  LOL

Thanks again, it sure made a difference on the couple of tractor rides i went on.

I have a D-10 series III, that I use on tractor drives. I'v thought about making a foot throttle for it.

Dusty, have you looked into it, like maybe the layout in the parts book?  I have the 15 book, but that may be apples and oranges.  Confused

Hey Dusty,,,I have NO idea how close the D15 II might be to your D10,,, but I think I still have a nice copy I had made for my D14 Industrial from the original set up I sold to Dave ,,if you're interested,,,,

stick it back on another aumann auction? they usually have the serious buyers there, and the auction company will take care if a bad check comes thru!
