Called the Americ-inn in Hutchinson and got my reservation! Going to take the 45 and one of the plows unless something goes horribly sideways.

Good to get something positive done on a crappy snow-day.

I am setting here wondering if it's safe to start advertising our show for July 2021 or will Covid halt it again, don't want to spend money then have it cancelled again.

Last I heard, most everyone should have the vaccine by July 2021.

Reservations can always be cancelled if the show doesn't happen. Getting a room as show time gets near is tough.

Drove up and back in one day in '19. Long day and only left about 5 hours at the show. Between getting parts sold transferred, parts bought loaded, and trying to see everything it just wasn't enough time!

Last I heard 60% of rest home employee won't take the vaccination and that leaves 40% vaccinated and then where do we stand.

I called the County Health Department and got the answering machine and left my message about when we could get our shots wedensady and still haven't heard anything from them. Guess I will have to remember them when they ask for us to vote for more money for them.

By order of Importance(Some Self directed) will be Health Workers/Hospitals, Old Age homes staff then care patients, VA Homes.  Politicians are Self Important so they butt in line before home based retirees with underlying afflictions(Diabetes, Severe Asthma, COPD, Lung Function issues, Cancer victims, Immune Deficiency or Suppression sufferers and Heart Disease among the most prevalent), next up those on Medicare no known conditions, and High Importance work employees(City Services, Utilities, Grocers, Pharmacists).

Last Up and most likely not until Fall will be general Population, youths as young as 12 to mid sixties adults not in the above groups.  That per wife's physician at recent visit.

The news have been saying in group 2 teachers and over 65 and some say over 75. That guy in Wisconsin that left 50 bottles out over night on purpose that are now no good needs to be casterated

Been told Education Faculty are in same group as General Population here.  UNLESS fit into another category.  College Profs in St. Louis choked on that determination as been told.

The Politicians SHOULD be the LAST ones to get the shots.  Maybe then the next time the chit hits the fan, they'll act a little faster and for OUR sake and not their $$$.

I am all for Politicos getting the first shots, they die or get violently ill, not a loss just a public warning to Not go there!!  Thinking Ms Pissy needs to be inoculated EVERY three months with Different Serums just to prove that point.

Most nursing home employees are young women with families that feel invincible already.  These health care workers have been on the front lines and exposed to it by now and probably several times.  Seems every time I turn on the news they show some thirty something year old politician or healthcare worker getting the vaccine, my opinion, if it's supposed to work why don't they give it to the most vulnerable first.  Older people with underlying conditions first then go by age groups and health condition.  I know of a 50+ year old desk jockey in a nursing home that got her shot before the residents because she's scared she's gonna get it and die before inauguration day so she pulled the healthcare worker card and jumped the line.

Back to the post, hope to see you all at Hutch, I'll be in the big hat working the parade if Arlen and Brenna will let me again.

Old gal is figuring on going, I guess I'll get drug along. The folks there have a spot for us to set up our booths. I'll probably park the 200, B, and a couple of AC pieces of equipment up by the bee hives and have her take a couple of pictures to display.

Sounds like a good plan Tom! Thumbs Up

Besides beer, I'll bring along some of that GOOD Wisconsin cheese and some summer sausage sticks too.  That was a big hit the last time.

You guys out in the swap area are just going to have to come to the forum meeting and enjoy some of it!

It'll be fun getting all the misfits together again!

How long before it's July?!?!?! LOL Wink Clap  BeerBeerBeer   Handshake
