Not that I have a tractor with one, but it seems that from the videos I've seen that many Large Allis tractors exhibit a delay when shifting the PD, what is the cause of this?

Dad's D-15 shifts pretty smooth I think, but the issue I have seen is mainly on 7000 series.

From what I understand, the main delay is in fact that the PD is activated by hydraulics on the 70's, and they dont always move as fast as your right arm.  Ive got a 7060 and a 7045, and they shift differently between to two of them, so I know what you are talking about, but Im not smart enough (or particular enough) to worry about it.
