Replaced a leaky wheel cylinder . Couldn't get a wrench on the new bleeder screw . Found out it's 10 mm . Guess it came from China . World we live in I guess . Thanks

Mexico is metric also. What I hate is trying to work on one that is part metric and part SAE. At least I can still work on the older vehicles, the newer ones have too much computer crap.

You're right Hubert . Lesson learned. Next time I'll make sure to have the right wrench before I crawl under something . Thanks

Seems the tool box now is US standard , Metric , and British Standard - Whitworth , so a real mix and sometimes choice , when one has items build from around the world it gets confusing . Then it seems many US products now come in several different mixes .
My later Nortons as a mix of all 3 it seems and some are US and English

You don't say what year but that has been a long time of things being what ever size was handy. I think from 73 on when GM came with the square body style. But now Confused I cannot remember if there is metric on my 75. I can say for sure by 81 you needed both sets of wrenches.

I too would be ok with the metric as long as it was a all or nothing.
