We've been thinking about doing some trading again, haven't found a replacement yet but I thought I would se if there might be any interest in our 17 on here. We repainted it ourselves and it has quite a few new parts (radiator, voltage regulator, rebuilt generator, new tires and tubes on front, new wheel bearings on front, 53xx hours on working tach, lights work) and runs good, doesn't jump out of gear, power director works good. Could use a brake job (left side is weak). Weights do not go with the tractor, no fluid in rear tires. Located just north of Springfield, IL. Price - well I don't know yet???

One of the best tractors Allis built...I'd say $2500 and it would be sold....if it had PS you could add a couple hundred!

It doesn't have power steering, correct????

Personally,I think Eldon came closer to the correct price for the tractor. It's a very nice looking tractor, but without power steering,it won't bring as much as it probably should. You'll spend somewhere between 600.00 - 800.00 to install power steering on it and that'll be the low side. I believe between 2500.00 - 2700.00 would be more accurate for the tractor the way it sits. Just my own opinion.  Rick

I gave $2500 for my 58 D17D. It ran good, tin is good, has P/S, NF, doesn't jump out of gear, but needed 4 tires and the rear rims patched and paint.
Maybe put $3250 O.B.O. on it?

Easier to go down on price than up. If you need the money ASAP then lower your price otherwise I'd shoot for North of $3,000 for now.

You betcha - and no, it doesn't have power steering - until you lift the plow out the ground, then it becomes real easy!

I'd love to own it! I want a 1958 D-series tractor, just because it's the same vintage as me & I've never owned another tractor that new!! Kip

Surprised that your tractor hasn't sold yet. If I had a place for it, we'd certainly be talking.

That is a steal for a great looking tractor! What else can you buy for $3500?
