Wondering what oil I should use to 'topup' the  automatic transmission ? I added some 'power steering fluid' figuring I have nothing to lose and got it driving again.

While I'd love to replace/rebuild the double carden Ujoint, I wasn't happy being under it while on solid wooden blocks....

Also looking for HOW the high-neutral-low tranny lever was 'on the dash' as mine's on the floor .

No experience with a AC but a Clark of the same vintage used tractor hydraulic fluid. I could not tell by looking if it was automatics transmission fluid or tractor hydraulic fluid. The feed store that had the same model told me they used tractor fluid.

Dexron transmission fluid used around the same year vehicles works fine, even 10W 30 engine oil can be used for adding.
