I'm looking for information on the cast b front wheel centers. I'm missing the clamps and the rims aren't the greatest. Does the allis g use the same wheel clamps on the front?

Hi. What is the serial # of your B? Is it one of the early Waukesha units? I think the original wheels on those units were one piece steel rims with 6 bolt hubs. I have never seen one with weighted cast wheels, but in the parts book that I have, it looks like from S# 101 through 9018 (Which would make it a 1939) the wheels bolt to the rims with eight bolts. At any rate, I am pretty sure they were all 15 inch rims. My G has 12 inch rims with three clamps bolted to the cast centers, so it doesn't look to me that any of the parts are interchangable.

Yes, my mistake. The serial # 101 through 9018 that I mentioned earlier would be from 1938, not 1939 as I indicated. Embarrassed
As I said earlier, the parts book that I have shows those tractors with a center hub bolted to the rim. I didn't notice earlier that a note at the bottom of the page has a list of exceptions. It looks like about 185 units in that range had different front wheels, but the book does not specify what they did have.

So not a Waukesha B but a very eary one. How are the center hubs connected to the rims? The book shows four bolts from the rim to the wheel. It also looks like the wheel is fixed to the spindle with one center nut as part of the bearing train. No hub or wheel nuts?

The cast hubs are connected to the spindle like the regular later hubs are with 1 nut. Then the rims bolt on with 4 bolts and clamps I have just tracked down a good front with most of the hardware I need with good rims. I'm still looking for a good seat assembly someone has put a pan seat on it I want to put the correct bench seat back on it. Thanks everyone for the information I'll post a picture sometime soon.

If you are needing the front rim locks for the cast hubs on a 38' B I have spares. I have three 1938 B's, and parted out two already as well.
The 38' cast hub B is a 1 year only design and I have not found any other model with the same parts.

Yes, I have all three of these styles of rims.
The early 37' B 6 bolt rims I am not parting with as they stay on our 37' W "B"

I have three or four sets of the cast iron 38' B rims, outter steel bands, cast hubs, and rim locks. I will part with parts or sets.

I also have one 39' B rim, the cast center hub is rivited to the outer steel rim.

I also have many standard B rims. that bolt on.

Thank you for posting this picture. On another website someone had a bunch of new old stock bolts and nuts. No numbers or anything on them. They came in a bunch of stuff from a sale. No one knew what they were for. Now I can't find the post.

I need 2 front rims and bolts that hold the wheel on. I also just acquired another 38 this 1 has the old style lock ring rear rim. I'd be interested in 1 of those rear rims if you have any. Thank.

I have seen Monroe spring seats on these tractors.
I have a used factory seat backrest. DJS sells for $123.00 plus shipping. I will take $50 shipped.
They get $89.50 for the cushion. A 28x15 piece of plywood 4ith a 3 1/2 thick foam cushion covered in vinyl. Simple to make.
