Was I near anyone here? Dealing on an real nice L2. Sure are a lot more orange and silver in that neck of the woods. That's how it was 30 years ago here.

You were in my neck of the woods today. I work about ten miles from there at the New Holland-Agco dealer in Fort Atkinson. Whos L2 were you looking at? I maybe able to give you some information on it.

Actually it was Saturday. I stopped and drove through your dealership lot around noon. The combine belongs to Chris Strong and sits at Braumler's.

I wasnt at work on Saturday, so if you stopped in you didnt see me.
I do know that combine, it should be in good condition. I sold him a new set of wide space cylinder bars for it before last season. I know he was looking for a good used R62 combine. If it is at Baumlers he might have bought a New Holland now. Baumlers are a great group of guys too. We did a major overhaul on that combine Im thinking 8 years ago, and about two years ago we put a new unloading auger on it. Send me a message if you want me to look up more information on it.

Chris is a good guy, and so are Baumlers. They used to be Allis-Chalmers dealers back in the day... as you probably noticed they're doing really well with New Holland after being given the boot by AGCO.

Be down there today to pick up the heads. Chris bought an R60 somewhere and consigned the L2 at Baumlers, although I found it on Craigslist as Baumlers hadn't had it but a few days and hadn't put it on their web site yet. Sure is a nice looking machine.
