I would suggest trying Sandy Lake. They seem to be able to find the unusual parts. Also, look on e-bay Under Allis Chalmers B-C Hydraulic pump. I am always surprised at the items available there. Course you would be getting the full pump and sometimes a PTO-belt pully to go with it. Good Luck! Bill Long

Bill Long, thanks for the response, there is a pump on ebay, but it has to be 60+ years old, of course mine is 70 years old, haha. Tim |

Tim, i have had good luck polishing down the outside of the spool ( valve) and touching up the inside seat with a drill bit... or setting the ball bearing inside and smacking it with a hammer to form / makeup the seat.... I have got new balls at the hardware store.. Never had to replace the spool ( valve)....... is yours damaged beyond use ? ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

steve(ill), I replaced the balls with new from hardware store and have used a piece of brass rod and hammer to hit ball but, still leaks. I made a stand to test pump and when I pump 1 piston the other one moves out, leading me to think the discharge valves are leaking.. Tim |

I have used a drill bit and VERY GENTLY lap the surface where the ball sets... But you may be past that point. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

steve, Is the valve seat hardened? Was thinking of epoxy a ball on end of wood dowel and lap seat using some valve grinding compound. Hmmmm, might cut off threads on bolt and counter bore to fit ball and locktight ball in bolt, and use it to lap seat.....Thanks, Tim |

the seat must not be SUPER hard since the book tells you to SMACK the ball and dent the seat to fit it...i think your plan for lapping is a good one. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
