I am wanting to put some wd pistons in my motor. but i am wanting just a little more power. is there a piston that is taller and will get me a little more copression. maybe out of a different tractor or something.  I have 4 1/8 sleeves now. I can mill piston if need tol. any ideas would be great.

lerio 8 inch rod and a wd45 power crater piston leave the first compression ring off.

I am searching on the interenet on this Lerio.  can you give me more info on this. very interested. where to get them? Are these from Clevite? would like to talk to you if possible

There are pistons out there that will do what you want. You just need a little longer distance from the wrist pin to the top. I thought Mitch or somebody listed different piston heights on here once before. Find a WD45 piston and measure it. Figure out what you want for Comp ratio and what it will take to get that, then shop for the pistons.

are these custom made pistons you are talking about. Where do i find them.

i posted a pic of a leroi rod it should be in the archives . the 8 inch rod has a canted cap and was only used in the leroi 226 engines that had a combustion chamber in the head . you can also turn the crank down to a h rod journal for thier rod was 8 inches long and are a little more easier to find since farmall hs were plentiful . another option is the c farmall rod it has a 1 3/4 journal and is 7 1/4 long . You can gain 1/2 inch of stroke for a gain in cubic inches without a comp ratio change from factory and utilize the factory allis pistons once the c rod small end has been opened up.
