Might seem silly, but I thought I would ask.

Does bypassing the Air filter (Oil cup ones) help with overall power? I see several tractors using Paper filters when pulling. Just don't know how restrictive the Oil Cups are.

and second does a straight exhaust pipe help a gas tractor?

I use K&N filters on mine and striaght pipes. Don`t know about the power increase but there must be something to it.

I have heard both ways on the straight pipe I have been told that you lose low end torque with the straight pipe but gain a little power at the high end
