what battery do yall like , with lots of cranking amps , that will fit in the battery box on a d-10 series 3  ????   thanks keith so. va.

You're going to get as many different battery sizes as you get answers here.  I use a group 22 (sometimes it's called a 522 or 22 for a Ford) There are two batteries that fall into the Group 22 size for some reason. The one I'm talking about is just about the same physical size as a group 1 - 6Volt battery and fills up the box on all the little ACs great. Many also will use a group 26 (just be sure that you get one with the  +&- terminals oriented the correct way) ,which is shorter and needs a piece of plywood under it to keep the cables from rubbing in the battery box edges.
