I been noticin that when I forget to charge my IPhone on the house charger,,it takes a lot longer than it does if I use the charger in the car,,,?? The car charger only takes bout 1 1/2 hour from bout a 30% to a 100% and the house charger takes ,,,several hours,,, Wonder why,,??

Also wonderin if the fast charging is not good to the phone battery,,?

How many amps does it take to charge a phone?

In my house I have noticed that some chargers are faster than others. This is house current. Try a different charger if you have more than one. Have the same issue with an iPad charger in a vehicle.

These new smart phones learn your charging and first usage daily pattern. My new phone has learned that I plug it in around 9-9:30 pm and start using it at 6am. According to what I read it will charge up to 80% and hold until just before 6am to go to 100% supposedly to increase battery life. It’s an iPhone X.
