Does anyone know if they sell parts/ repair kits for these? I bought a new one, but the one I had came apart while brush hogging and I couldn’t find the inside parts for it. Thanks in advance

Buy a new one. 4 people I know have been killed when those failed. Running n ferds. Pushed over steep embankments. Buy a good unit. Store it inside. |

It lets the pto shaft on the equipment keep spinning when the clutch is disengaged while the pto is spinning. This keeps the inertia from something like a bush hog from pushing the tractor through a fence, into a ditch, over a steep embankment, etc. On the older smaller tractors the pto is driven straight though the transmission and even with the clutch disengaged the spinning equipment will keep driving the tractor and the brakes are not enough to stop it. At best it is a bad feeling to try to stop and go right on through that new fence you just put up, worse it the tractor going for a swim in the pond. ------------- Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God. |
