Hi,
I'm removing the torque tube assembly from the differential to put a new gasket in. Should this just slide out or is there some type of retainer?
Thanks in advance,

I believe you need to remove the axles to get that apart, which means opening up the final drives.

Yes, the pinion shafts need to be removed to get that out. Here is a link to my pictures of what all comes out and what it looks like. http://home.comcast.net/%7Eold_allis/ac-RC-chassis.html - http://home.comcast.net/~old_allis/ac-RC-chassis.html

Tom, I went thru your album and and I'm totally in awe of the detail you've put into your restorations. You definitely set the standard.

That is a great photo album. I never think to take pictures when I do stuff. Sometimes I wish I did when it's 2 years later and I'm trying to figure out how something goes together.
