on my wd45 i have a sickle bar mower i dont know the model but it has a bracket that pins where the drawbar pins. the mower then slides onto the bracket with a pin that drops in on each side and is lifted by only the right lift arm. i think its a 7 foot bar. anyway i bought it a while ago and mounted it and there is a long spring that faces forward and goes almost under the axle where does this attach i have no other brackets or hardware its almost like its there to help with lifting or to assist in floating. does someone have a pic or describe where the spring attaches ... thank you Jb

thats it and i see what im missing. i do have the two flat pieces that bolt to the end of the spring i do not have that bracket that mounts up there by the fender. im sure it was most likely left on the wd that the man had it on when it was sold. i got the mower after the tractor was sold. i did get 4 s-c latches and two extra knives. now the hunt for that bracket is on... anyone have one for sale or could some one with it make me a print so i can make a exact copy. also thanks for digging up that old post... Here is a picture of my WD-45 and 80R mower with conditioner attachment. The closeup is of the dolly bracket but you can see how the two flats are attached. I'm not sure if this is factory correct but it works good.

On the D14 mounting I remember a cable or spring that had to be attached to lift the bar at an angle when you lifted the main unit up with the rock shaft arms.
