So my 7000 never had the rear dipstick. I can't find one either. If you know where I might find this part I would appreciate it. If a fellow 7000 owner would give some measurements I can make my own, either solution works for me, just need to replace.....thanks

Are you referring to the oil fill at the top near the top link on the back of the tractor?

No dipstick there, you fill oil there until it's between the 2 sight glasses, lower left side of rearend.

Tbone, I think a 7000 is different than the rest of the 7000 series. Been a long time since I've been around any straight 7000 though.

Try Hammel Equipment in Chatfield Mn. They have scrapped a lot of tractors over the years. Ask for Troy

Swing the batteries out and you will see two site glasses.   There is no dipstick on a red belly.   

That's were the fill plug is located too.

I am talking about the differential oil dipstick located at the back of the tractor above the 3 point

Finally had a chance to get your info. Overall length of dip stick sitting in tube is 13 7/8". Low mark is 1.5" from the end, and full is 2".
