Hello all, I had my handclutch for my CA rebuilt buy a local shop around 5-6 years ago, but they had never seen one like it and I think they only relined the disc and gave it back. I had been only mowing the yard with this tractor, but I recently put a loader on it, and when I went to push some dirt the tractor just stopped, engine rpm stayed the same but neither wheel spun, like the clutch was slipping. It could be the main foot clutch, but I think it’s the hand clutch. How do I tell which is slipping, pretty sure it’s hand clutch. Our local rebuilder has gone out of business, where can I send it to have it rebuilt? I did replace the axle oil seal at last rebuild. Or are there any Adjustments I can do to the hand clutch on tractor? 2nd my brakes are worn plum out, was hoping where ever I sent the clutch could reline them also. 3rd, my front pedestal, narrow front, jumps several inches each way when I’m high gear, and a little in slower gears, it’s not on the box, just front pedestal, can these be rebuilt and are parts available for it? Thanks for any help, most importantly I’m looking on how to diagnose hand clutch or foot clutch slipping and a place to send the clutch and brake bands to be repaired. Thanks for any help, Dave

The hand clutch can be expensive to rebuild (Sandy Lake as the parts). If you have no use for it, you can bolt it together so it won't slip. Rick Corder on here supplies excellent brake shoes. I recommend him.
Front end sounds wore out. Might have to get a salvage one to replace it?

Put The Pto In gear If The Pto Stops It Is The Foot Clutch If Don't Stop It Is The Hand Clutch

Thanks for the diagnosis tips, what’s the best way to contact rick, does he rebuilt hand clutches too? I don’t really need it, but I’d like to see how much to repair properly to keep it original, it was handy mowing at times.
