But I know the guy...  He's a tractor jockey of sorts, Aquasco, MD X from the post office...

Good price, needs clutch, looks like a series 2...

ME LIKE!!!! Factory top link!!!! That would be fun to have with a 100 gallon tank and boom on the back to spray fence lines. I am hoping the 200 will have that job next year.

Looks like something from down south that was treated worse than a rented muleBig smileIt may need more than a clutchThumbs Down Transmission troubles?Dead

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Seen worse!

Honestly if it was closer I’d buy it and take the factory 3 point off and put it on mine.  Guessing if has factory 3 point it has better hydraulics.  She might not be show ready but price reflects it.

For him to admit it needs a clutch, is a major thing, Paul!  His dad is the one who usedter stuff a bunch of b'nanners into a noisy valve train, on the old fords!Wink

Posted with the caveat emptor warning that goes with all used tractor purchases.  Sometimes, the parts are worth more than the whole!WinkWink

Factory 3 point had same hydraulic system as a snap-coupler tractor.

That is the first series 2 I have seen with a tachometer block off plate. I had assumed a tach was std equipment buy then.

First I ever heard of the nanner in the tranny thing but remember Grandpa telling us kids the first thing you checked on a used Model A Ford was to see if sawdust was in the tranny. Said it was widely used by any seller with a tired unit and really quieted them down briefly when worn and if the seller would not let you check it, you walked away.

The nanners were shoved in the valve cover, it was a ford tractor, can't remember the model, but it sure smelled nice.  As I said, it was his father, I think that was the perpetrator, but the younger one is easier to deal with, anyway.  Anybody that buys a ford is bananas, anyway!Wink

This is a good deal for someone even needing a clutch.Aside from the bruises on the grill,a well used seat cushion and the bit of bruises of the rear of the left fender it’s great. And at least the fenders from the pics anyway ,aren’t eat up with cancer where they meet the braces, that’s always a plus with the D series.
