i just acquired an Allis 830 Sprint rear engine riding mower yesterday out of the neighbours scrap pile, it is in decent shape motor still free but the rear axle is missing. my hopes are to fix it up and get it running and driving. Are they hard to find parts for? any help is appreciated!

Ahhh, the ole' 830 rear engine Sprint. Reminds me a little of the old Snapper Comet. I'm wondering if the rearends are the same...... Hmmmm... anything is possible. Not sure how hard the 830 is for parts though. Sorry, can't help ya there.... Steve@B&B

Was that the same as the A. C. Wonder Boy. I had 2. First was with the joy stick, and the second had a steering wheel and foot clutch. The had a planetary gear box with 2 speed forward and reverse.
