I am in process of replacing the oil pan gasket on my series 4 D17 and the Agco pan gasket came with the F gaskets seeing how I am not replacing the rear main seal should I pull the rear main bearing cap and replace the F seals or not?

No, I would not pull the main cap just to replace F gaskets.       MACK

Thanks for the reply’s fellers. I got it back together yesterday afternoon noon without the F gasket and no more leaks. The old gaskets on the ends of the pan crumbled like a cracker when I took them out.
