Looking for help , I have a 190xt that I put in shop over 6 months ago to redo, I pulled the oil cooler off and replaced lines from cooler to pump, never removed the pump, I changed the filter , cleaned sump screen , changed oil, so now with that all being done , it’s very choppy to steer and the pump makes a squealing noise, I was told my pump is going bad , I have also pulled the plunger out of pump and that’s not sticking , looking to not buy a pump at 2 grand maybe there is something I’m over looking any help would be greatly appreciated

If the power steering worked fine before you worked on the tractor, then it would be logical to think if it doesn't work correctly now, you have changed something or done something wrong. The pump shouldn't have broken just sitting in the shop. Low on hydraulic oil ??  Crossed lines ?? An air leak between the suction tube and rubber connections at each end ??

It is also possible you have not worked all the air out of the system.

Did you jack the front end up and work the steering back and forth to get the air out? Like the good Dr said you sure everything is tight and not sucking air?

ok so I jacked up the front end I was able to steer it back and forth , when I put the PD in either high or low it would fight me to turn it, so when I put weight on steer tires it also turned very hard , and I know all my connections are correct and I’ve bled every line possible , I’m stumped and irritated

I would say you have the two lines switched on back of pump.     MACK
