I purchased a 1949 HD5G last fall. The guy I bought it from got it at an estate sale.
The previous owner pulled the Auburn clutch and sent it out for repair. The engine runs and the hydraulics work. I am just taking inventory of the loose parts that came with it.
Along with the clutch the following parts are missing: both steering levers, shift lever and guide.
I have tried General Gear and Machine, They aren't pulling any parts at this time.
Also I am waiting for an answer from Thill Track and Tractor as they are about a 100 miles from my location in Wisconsin.

Does anyone have these parts available?

Thanks Curt. I was able to get most of the parts from Doug Quade last week. I talked to you on the phone the other day about the steering levers for the HD5.

I am going to order the available new clutch parts I need from General Gear.
They don't list as available the pressure ring guiding spacer (5) needed. Also the parts book calls out 5/16 NC x 3/4 capscrews. Is that right? Is it possible they should be longer?

Thanks again for your help.

Regarding the steering levers for an HD5 versus an HD6, the HD5 are both straight. The HD6 has one straight and one curved to allow the opertor to reach between the levers for the throttle.

Thanks Curt. I have been working with gemdozer. He shipped a set of steering levers and some other main clutch parts I needed this morning. Hopefully they will be here by the end of next week. I am currently working on the sheet metal parts that I had laser cut at work. (Fender repair sections that were rusted out under the battery boxes, lids for the battery boxes, new support panels for the seat base and back, new floor sections and inspection plate for main clutch) I have them drawn up in cad to get the parts laser cut. I can provide a pdf to anyone needing any of these parts.
