had a little issue with my 180 diesel. Previous owner had 2 red cables for ground cables. Never was a problem until today. Wasn't paying attention and hooked up positive ground. A little smoke came out from under dash before I could get cables unhook. Tractor is totally dead now. Removed the dash covers and can't see anything burnt put call smell it. I'm kinda hope someone has done this before and can lead me in right direction. Is there a fusible link under there ? Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely got voltage regulator. Could have got alternator, but diodes should have protected it.            MACK
