Not an expert but from my research the number is 10100. I know there are smarter folks than I on here. But this will give you something. Good luck

10092 and 10100 are listed in the Owner Registry.

I just bought a D-12 III yesterday. It is #9433. It's a little rough, but runs good and is salvageable.

This will be a nice tractor with some work, never give up, it was made in the USA and they don’t build them anymore

Does yours have 3 point hitch? Someone revamped (butchered) the factory 3 point hitch on mine and also the battery box. Is the battery box the same as the older D-10 (I have a couple older D-10's) on the Series III ?

If you have any pictures, I would love to see some. If you do and it's easier, you can email them to me at curt12914@yahoo.com

We are about 200 miles apart. I am right across the St. Lawrence from Cornwall.

I just realized that the serial numbers are only 10 apart (yours was built first). Maybe I will name mine Junior !

I see that it has the 2 speed gear box ahead of the transmission, That is nice.
I have a D-10 series III with the 2 speed box, it will do 16.25 mph.
I can make the side panel covers that go under the gas tank.
Just like original or in 2 pieces so they are easy take off and put back on.

Dusty
