Yes you can, if you don't mind all the blue goo ending up clogging up your pickup screen and in turn ruining your motor. That's why there are gaskets available for installing an oil pan. If a job is worth doing, DO IT RIGHT. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

1947WC, And Don would have suggested to pull the engine, if you haven't already. Its the best way to get a good fix on sealing up the bottom end of these old engines. And don't forget the F gaskets!
